❊ Testimonials

Trusted by Clients.

Seriously! But don’t take my word for it, here are some things people have to say about working with me.

My therapist has been an incredible help to me. She has helped me so much in terms of dealing with my past and finding healthy ways to cope with sadness and anger. She is also amazing because whenever I would tell her of something positive that happened that we’d been working on for a while, she was super excited for me and it made me feel seen and understood. She is sooo incredible.

I really felt valued and heard by Christina. She was easy to talk to and I feel like she was very understanding. I already feel a sense of relief I haven’t felt in years and I can’t wait for our next session.

Christina is an incredible therapist. I feel like she really gets me and has been able to open some doors for me. We had a great “ah ha” moment during my session today that will really help me work through some things and I’m very grateful to have found a therapist that I can work with so easily.

❊ FAQs

You’ve got questions,
I’ve got answers

  • Yes, I am a clinically licensed therapist with over 10 years licensed and over 17 years of experience in the field. I hold three graduate degrees in the field and have trained in various therapeutic modalities. I continuously pursue professional development to stay updated in the field.

  • Online therapy offers a flexible and convenient way to receive mental health support from anywhere with an internet connection.

Requirements: You must be in a private location, like a room or office. You must NOT be driving during the session or the passenger in a vehicle. I must have your exact location at the start of each session to ensure compliance of the law.

Preferences: Join from a laptop or computer with a stable internet connection. Sometimes, connecting from a phone with cell service can lead to lagging speeds and distorted audio and video.

    Sessions:
    1. 50 minutes long
    2. Weekly, biweekly, or monthly
    3. Based on a collaborative treatment plan that we create over the first couple of sessions.
    4. You can talk about anything that’s on your mind. This could include current challenges, past experiences, emotions, or even your day-to-day life. It’s important to share what feels relevant to you, and I’ll be there to guide the discussion.

  • No. Due to licensure laws, you must be in a state where I hold a clinical license. At the time of the session, you must be physically located in one of the following five states: Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, or Washington.

  • Individual Therapy: $185 per session
    Couples Counseling: $225 per session
Professional Consultation / Supervision: Varies - please email to inquire

*Late cancel and no show fees: If you cancel within 48 hours, there will be charged a 50% late cancelation fee. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee.

  • I do not take insurance. Inked Mind Therapy is a self-pay private practice only.

If you have insurance that includes out-of-network benefits, you can request a super bill from me that you will submit to your insurance company. A super bill is an itemized receipt of therapy services and it may (or may not) result in partial reimbursement or credit toward your deductible.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a late cancel fee. This allows me to offer that time slot to another client. My cancellation policy will be discussed during our first session.

  • During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask about your background, what brings you to therapy, and your goals. This session typically lasts about 50 minutes and is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts and feelings in a safe space.

  • My therapeutic approach?

I utilize a combination of psychodynamic and attachment theories, along with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). This eclectic approach allows me to tailor our work to your individual needs and goals.

  • It’s important to feel comfortable with your therapist. If you don’t feel a connection, please let me know. We can discuss your concerns, and if needed, I can help you find someone who may be a better fit for your needs.

  • If you experience a crisis between sessions and you are having thoughts of hurting yourself or others, I encourage you to following the following safety plan:

    1. Immediately call 911 and go to the nearest emergency room
    2. If you need to talk to a crisis counselor, call 988
    3. Reach out to me to see if there is availability to move up your existing appointment or schedule an additional one
